Evening my sweethearts

Well the fair weekend is now over, I’m back to work and so so tired. What can I say, it was a brilliant weekend. It was lovely to spend time with Porge and Anneliese, as well as the myriad of other friends that turned up to support us over the weekend.

The weekend started with us turning up at the venue at about 8.30….far too early for a Saturday morning, hehe, and then spent the next hour and a half setting up the 2 stalls which we booked. The visitors started turning up about 10am and the first hour really dragged. Fortunately, Porges family turned up, my parents turned up, a load of friends turned up and really kept us going and enthusiastic.

We managed to leave everything on the tables overnight, as they had security set up, which meant the Sunday morning wasn’t so bad. There was a load more people on the Sunday which was fantastic.

I sold quite a few things, some brooches, a scarf, some necklaces and some hats. I didn’t manage to sell any blankets, so I’ll probably put them on Etsy.

I got a few more commissions, so I still have a scarf to make, another necklace and another slouch hat, so that’ll be a bit more money coming in. Overall I made some money which I’m glad about, its all going in the savings. Am still trying to sort out the money for Florida…that should be booked soon, cant wait to go, it’ll be so much fun….theme parks galore, have any of you been to Florida before? Or do you live there??? Any tips?

Anyway luvvies, am off to work on some of the commissions
